Dr. Tamar Saguy is a associate professor at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya. Using a variety of methods and considering a range of social contexts, her work examines how power differences and related motivations impact intergroup processes. Tamar received my Ph.D in Social Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2008 (advisors: Jack Dovidio and Felicia Pratto), and was then a postdoctoral associate at Yale University. Prior to her Ph.D Studies she completed her BA and MA degrees at Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Dr. Arie Nadler. Her work is funded by grants from the US-Israel Bi-national Science Foundation and by the European Union's re-integration grant.
