Prof. Eli Bukspan's teaching and research focus on contract and corporate law, as well as corporate social responsibility and business ethics. His book, “The Social Transformation of Business Law,” is the first academic law book written on this topic in Israel.

Eli Bukspan received an LL.B with distinctions from Tel Aviv University and an S.J.D. (Doctor of the Science of Law) from Harvard Law School, where his research focused on corporate law and governance under the direction of Prof. Lucian Bebchuk and Prof. Rainier Kraakman. While at Tel Aviv University, he was the Associate Editor of “Iyunei Mishpat”, TAU’s Law Review. He was also a Network Fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, a Research Fellow at the John M. Olin Center for Law, Economics and Business: Program on Corporate Governance at Harvard Law School and a Fellow Guest Researcher at the University of California Berkeley School of Law.

Eli Bukspan joined the Radzyner School in 1996. He served as the academic director of the IDC’s Directors and Executive Management Program and editor-in-chief of “Law and Business”, the IDC’s law review. He also taught Corporate Law at the law faculties of Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Eli Bukspan frequently lecturers on corporate law and governance matters in professional and executive education programs, including the Institute of Advanced Judicial Studies, Israel Bar Association – Institute for Continuing Legal Studies, Lahav Executive Education at Tel Aviv University, Israeli CPA Institute and Business Ethics Center of Jerusalem. He was the founder of the first clinical law program (for Legal Assistance and Social Involvement) established at the IDC, which he chaired.

Eli Bukspan’s public roles include serving as the chair of the Licences Committee, Banking Supervision Department, Bank of Israel, the chair of the Fund for Class Action Funding, a member of the Advisory Committee to Banks Issues, Banking Supervision Department, Bank of Israel, a member of the public committee overseeing the Maala Index at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (a non-profit CSR standards-setting organization in Israel) and the chair of the Ethics subcommittee of Maala. He was awarded the 2016 Distinguished Class Action honorary recognition for his role in advancing the important cause of Class Actions in Israel.

Eli Bukspan clerked for the Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court, the Honorary Meir Shamgar, and practiced at the offices of S. Horwitz and partners.
