> YEAR I: Foundations: Context For Business Formation

The first year of study gives students a grounding in some of the key mathematical tools and functional specialties that managers need to be acquainted with and eventually master: macroeconomics, business communications, computers and their uses, psychology, and law. The focus is on the context in which businesses are formed, and on the basics to become "trainable" as managers.

> YEAR II: Management Principles

The second year of the program completes students' introduction to functional areas of study, including courses in marketing and market research, finance, accounting, operations management, and human resource management. During the second year, students learn to think like managers, breaking down business problems to their constituent parts and focusing on the various specialties that go into a division of labor in a strategic team. During the latter half of the year, the importance of marketing for new product development is particularly emphasized. In addition to their courses, students will meet entrepreneurs from the Herzliya area.

> YEAR III: Management Strategy

The final year offers students the opportunity to focus on applied business issues, with courses and seminars on market development, communications and advertising, consumer behavior, and many other problems of penetrating markets for innovative products. Students will also have the opportunity to focus on real world projects of their own, write business plans in teams, and choose from among a broad range of marketing and other electives to round off their study. During the end of their third year, students begin to work with the IDC placement office to find suitable employment or opportunities for advanced studies.
