Conflict Resolution

Dr. Shavit Matias , Director

The international conflict resolution track provides students with an understanding of managing and resolving international, regional, national and ethnic conflicts. Practical methods of doing so – such as managing negotiations, informal (track two) contacts and grassroots diplomacy – are taught in courses and professional workshops. In addition, the role of culture, the media, globalization, non-governmental organizations and other sources are examined and analyzed, as well as related topics in international intervention, peacekeeping forces and international law.
