      Welcome to the 2010 biannual Conference of the International Association for Relationship Research (IARR) that will be held July 22-26, in the campus of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) at Herzliya, Israel (click here for downloading the conference Call for Paper). The Organizing Committee at the New School of Psychology of the IDC Herzliya that co-hosts the conference is particularly happy and excited to welcome scholars, colleagues, and students from different parts of the world to discuss topics on social and personal relationships.
     In line with IARR conferences' best traditions, the Organizing Committee at the IDC Herzliya has put every effort to create a conference environment where participants will interact academically as well as interpersonally in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Beyond the rigorous academic program which will take place at the IDC Herzliya facilities overlooking the Mediterranean sea, the conference will include a series of social events planned to stimulate social interaction and enjoyment: Wine & Food reception in the opening evening, Saturday half-day trip to the old city of Jerusalem, Saturday "Night Spectacular" at the Tower of David, and Sunday Awards Dinner.  
     Convention activities will begin Thursday evening with the Presidential Lecture, which will be followed by a Wine & Food Reception. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the program will continue with a host of invited addresses, symposia, paper and poster sessions, and special events. The cost of lunches during the conference, Thursday Welcome Reception, half-day trip to Jerusalem, and entry to the "Night Spectacular" at Tower of David is included in the conference registration. As in past conferences, a number of pre-conference workshops will be held during the day on Thursday, July 22.
We feel that Herzliya, a beautiful Mediterranean beach city, and the land of Israel itself will provide the backdrop for a time to remember.
