The new Erasmus+ is a mobility scheme for academic cooperation and exchanges of students and academics between a consortium of Higher Education Institutions in Europe and Israel. This mobility scheme aims to support the establishment of cooperation partnerships between European higher education institutions and higher education institutions in Israel. The EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) is responsible on behalf of the European Commission, for the management of certain parts of the EU's funding programs in the fields of education, culture, and audiovisual, sport, citizenship and volunteering.
Opportunities are available for Students and staff (academic and non-academic) to spend a period abroad in order to increase their skills and employability.

Erasmus+ Grants awarded will be managed by the partner institution and will be transferred to students and staff once they have arrived.

Selection Criteria for participants:
1. Academic merit
2. Meet the English criteria according to the IIA(Inter-institutional agreement)
3. No disciplinary problems
4. Enrolled in IDC as an Israeli or RRIS student
5. Preference will be given to students from less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds. As well as students and staff with special needs.
If a participant has a physical, mental or health-related situation that would prevent them from participating in a mobility activity unless extra financial support was made available, IDC can ask it's partner institution to request "special needs" support from their National Agency in order to cover the extra costs involved.
