Exchange Students

Eligibility
In order to apply as an exchange student at IDC Herzliya, you must be a student from one of our Partner Institutions and be nominated by the exchange coordinator at your home institution. As an exchange student, all tuition fees to IDC Herzliya are waived. However, students are still responsible for all costs relating to food, housing, medical & travel expenses.

You should have completed at least one year of education through your home institution.

IDC Herzliya offers a 6-week intensive Hebrew learning course (Ulpan) every summer for an extra fee, running from the end of July until the begining of September. Hebrew courses taken during the regular semester are at no extra cost. More >>

To apply as an exchange student from one of our partner institutions, please contact your student exchange coordinator.

Courses at IDC Herzliya are taught in both English and Hebrew, and students are expected to be able to matriculate in one of these languages. If English is not your native language, you are expected to provide evidence of an English-proficiency test, such as the TOEFL or IELTS.

The Raphael Recanati International School at IDC Herzliya requires a minimum of 80 on the TOEFL computer-based test, or 6 on the IELTS. In certain cases, this may be waived for incoming students from our partner institutions, provided the home institution can verify the student's English proficiency.

Students who are not from one of our Partner Institutions may apply as a visiting or 'Study Abroad' student. Please visit our Visiting Student section for more details
