The Center for Internet Psychology (CIP) at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications

In a world in which the internet influences every aspect of our lives, understanding its psychological implications makes it possible to highlight the internet’s positive aspects and create a friendlier environment for internet users. CIP was established in order to research the factors that influence the psychological wellbeing of the internet user and possibilities for personal and group empowerment via the internet. CIP focuses on creating a trilateral dialogue between the academic community, the large community of internet users and the business community. In addition to academic publications, CIP also publishes material for the general public and hosts international seminars that provide a platform for dialogue between Israel and foreign experts.
