The Center for European Studies

The center coordinates European studies and organizes events and public forums on the European Union and its relations with Israel and the Middle East. In recent years, the center has hosted senior European government officials, including the prime minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and the chancellor of Austria. The center is offering IDC Herzliya students a certificate program that will allow them to specialize in the European Union, with an emphasis on economic affairs, politics, history and law. The program is taught in English. In addition, students who meet the criteria will be able to extend their studies by spending a year at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany, in a program which will lead to a master’s degree from the host university.
