IDC Herzliya Hillel House

The IDC Herzliya Hillel House serves as a hub for Jewish activities on campus and a platform that enables a variety of student initiatives. It aims to enrich students’ lives with meaningful Jewish experiences, inspiring them to enrich the Jewish people and the world. The IDC Herzliya Hillel House strives to meet the specific needs of international, veteran Israeli and new immigrant students through activities that celebrate the broad spectrum of languages and cultures in Israel. Activities include Friday night Shabbat dinners, trips around Israel, weekend seminars and celebrations of Jewish and Israeli holidays.

Hillel's Annual Activity Program

The Jewish Calendar
Shabbat Dinners
 – Once a month Shabbat dinner is held inside campus. The gathering creates a warm atmosphere for students who are away from home on Friday nights. Great food and prayers are a part of the program. The dinners bring Israeli students and international students together so they can both get to know each other's customs and traditions. Mark your calendar 1st Shabbat Dinner at IDC – Nov.23rd. Details to be announced!!!

Holidays – There is not a single holiday that passes by without us celebrating it in the Hillel way; a costume party in the Purim ball and Megilla reading in one of the local bars, a traditional street party on Independence Day, a Lag BaOmer bon fire followed by a dance party under the stars… The Hillel parties are fun and meaningful, organized and run by students. Come join the fun!

Weekends – Every semester we go on a weekend to see the beauty of Israel's nature, view and different cultures. During the Shabbat we enjoy festive meals and attend the synagogue for prayers and ceremonies. We invite you to come join us and offer their input for the weekend programs.
