Student Exchange Programs
The Radzyner School of Law
The Radzyner School of Law offers its students a growing number of exchange programs at law schools in leading universities in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. The different programs provide students with the distinctive experience of spending a semester studying at a university abroad, during which they are introduced to the best of the academic content and local culture and have the opportunity to make connections with lecturers and students. The universities that have cooperation agreements and exchange student programs with the Radzyner School of Law include the Faculty of Law University in Hong Kong, the Ottawa University in Canada, Singapore Management University (SMU), NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad in India, The International University College of Turin (IUC) in Italy and Tsinghua University in China.
In addition, outstanding undergraduates at the Radzyner school can deepen their knowledge of international law by participating in a study trip to Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany. The study trip, which is the same one the school's graduate student take part in, is part of the academic cooperation between IDC Herzliya and Heinrich Heine University. The Arison School of Business
The Arison School of Business offers several exchange programs for its students:
Singapore Management University (SMU) - This program is for Business Administration and Government students in their final year of their undergraduate studies. Students selected to participate will spend the entire fall semester of their third year at SMU. SMU offers courses in business administration, economics, government, information systems and more. There is no additional tuition fee for participating in the program.
University of Pennsylvania - Selected outstanding students in their third year of studies at the Arison School of Business will spend a full semester at the Wharton School in the University of Pennsylvania, whose programs have been ranked amongst the world’s best Business education programs for the past decade. The program was made possible by the academic cooperation agreement reached between the two schools. There is no additional tuition fee for participating in the program.
The Efi Arazi School of Computer Science
The Efi Arazi School of Computer Science has been offering a student exchange program with the University of Pennsylvania for the past nine years. Each year, outstanding second-year students spend a full semester in Philadelphia, during which they take a series of courses at the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Wharton School of Business, both of which are internationally renowned. There is no additional tuition fee for participating in the program.
The Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy
Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University has developed a joint study and research program in counter-terrorism policy, homeland security and American domestic and foreign policy. The academic cooperation between the schools includes student exchange programs in which about 20 students from IDC Herzliya travel to Syracuse for a mini-semester. The studies include visiting U.S. government institutions in Washington, international institutions and the UN Headquarters in New York, and meeting with the local Jewish community and students on the campus. Singapore Management University (SMU) - The program is for second-year students, and gives 10 students from each school the opportunity to spend a semester at the other participating institution. Participants are selected by a special admissions committee. Participants select their courses on their own and submit them to the school for academic approval. The host institution assists students with finding accommodation. In addition, there are connections with the Israeli Embassy and other Israeli organizations in Singapore.
Summer Semester in Crete, Greece – Georgetown University in the U.S., invites students from over 20 countries and over 65 academic institutions to a meeting of cultures and exchange of opinions on political, cultural and economic issues in Crete, Greece. Every year a number of students who have completed their second year of studies at the Lauder School of Government are selected to participate in the program. Charles University, Prague, Czechoslovakia – This exchange program is for second-year students. Two students from each institution spend a semester at the other institution. The participants are selected by a special admissions committee. Participants select their courses on their own and submit them to their school for academic approval.
