The idea of a coffee-flavored beverage made out of date pits was developed by Inbal Israeli, Adi Eckhouse, Gill Haberman, Rom Kshuk and Shay Cohen (Zell 5 – 2006) in 2007. Currently, the company is led by Shay and Rom. Green Life Café develops healthy and sustainable solutions for the coffee industry, which are sold in health food markets in Israel and at the coffee chain Cafe Neto, including its first product, Espresso Date.
